Dr. Mahesh Bhargava, (born, l5th Feb., 1947) M. A. (Psy.), M. Ed., Ph. D. Promoter and Director, National Psychological Corporation, Agra.

Recently he has been elected as President of Section of Anthropological & Behavioural Science (including Psychological & Educational Sciences, Home Science & Nutrition) of Indian Science Congress Association, Kolkata.

He has published by now 104 research papers and theoretical articles in various reputed national journals. Ten psychological tests were developed by him, and his twelve text and reference books are widely circulated and read. He has actively participated in 130 professional and academic gatherings, seminars, conferences, workshops, conventions. He has reviewed 12 books in various. journals. His area of specialization is Psychological Testing, Guidance & Counselling, Exceptional Children, Social & Population Psychology Dr. Bhargava is also associated in various capacities of editorial activities in 6 journals. Besides, he had also edited Sanskar and Samutakarsha Souvenirs of Bharat Vikas Parishad. He is associated as Life Member of 40 Professional origination in Psychology and Education in the country. He was the Executive Member of Indian Psychological Association (IPA) for 3 terms (1980-83, 1989-92, 1992-95), of Uttar Pradesh Psychological Association (UPPA) from 1987-94. He had been the Treasurer of Psycho-Linguistic Association of India, Raipur from 1977 to 1991, of Indian Psychological Association, New Delhi (1991-1993) and AIAET, New Delhi, Agra Chapter from 1988 to 1995. He has also worked as Recorder of Psychology and Educational Sciences Section of ISCA, Calcutta from 1992 to 94 and Secretary of Indian Psychological Association (IPA) from (1993-95). He had been Chairman (19931995) of the Center for Socio-economic Development Research (CONSIDER). He also got the privilege to act as President of Agra Bhargava Sabha for the year 1994-95 arid also President of Bharat Vikas Parishad, Agra Sanskar for the year 1997-1998 At present, he is Chairman, Harprasad Institute of Behavioural Studies (HIBS), Agra, President, Harprasad Bhargava Memorial Educational Society. President of Praachi Psycho-Cultural Research Association, Meerut ;/Vice President, Society for Community Mobilization for Sustainable Development, New Delhi ; President, U.P. Chapter of AIAER and Executive Member of Akhil Bhartiya Brij Kala Kendra, Mathura and All India Bhargava Sabha, New Delhi and Education Committee of AIBS, Lucknow. He is Editor of Psycholingua.
